Co2 System

CO2 or Carbon dioxide is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive gas…that’s highly efficient as a fire suppression agent. Carbon dioxide gas has a high rate of expansion, which allows a CO2 fire protection system to work fast. When applied to a fire, CO2 provides a heavy blanket of gas that reduces the oxygen level to a point where combustion cannot occur. Since carbon dioxide is a gas, there is no clean-up associated with a CO2 fire suppression system discharge…that’s minimal interruption to your business. With a CO2 system, clean-up costs and downtime associated with a CO2 discharge are negligible.

CO2 fire suppression system is extremely versatile, effective on a wide range of flammable and combustible materials and approved for Class A, B, and C hazards. Carbon Dioxide fire protection systems are available for use in total flooding or local fire protection applications – making it an effective fire protection system for a wide variety of hazards.

CO2 Valves

CO2 systems are equipped with two types of valves which totally developed. 128 valve is installed in the pilot cylinder enables the electrical activation by means of a solenoid or pyrotechnic charge. It also allows manual activation. They offer great flexibility of adaptation to all the actuation and release systems currently used in the market, allowing even combinations of several of them.

110 valve is installed in the auxiliary cylinders and it is activated by pilot cylinder’s pneumatic pressure. We designs CO2 systems through a software suitable for hydraulic calculations called FireNet®, which calculates most suitable pipes and nozzles sizes to ensure gas discharge.

Two Weighing Technologies

Mechanical System

It enables the continuous monitoring of the cylinder charging status. The system consists of modules mechanically operated and of easy set-up for each cylinder which in the event of discharge loss, it generates a visual warning signal. It can incorporate an electrical surveillance system such as a micro switch for each module or a photoelectric sensor capable of controlling module straight lines up to 10 meters in length with a single cable.

System by Cell

It enables the continuous monitoring of the cylinder charging status. The equipment generates an alarm signal when the gas loss contained in the cylinders exceeds 5% of the initial charge. All systems have a central unit connected to the fire station. The system enables the control of losses with a precision of 1 kg. All weighing device units are connected to the central unit through a one only monitoring line (BUS). Each central is designed to control a maximum of 31 weighing device units.
